Apple denied Galaxy S III sales ban in US

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California on Monday ended Apple’s hopes of stopping the upcoming launch of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S III smartphone. The Cupertino-based company had pushed to get a court order blocking the June 21st launch, however Koh denied the injunction, Reuters reported. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Most of Apple's mobile devices will get a new operating system this fall, including a different mapping service and a built-in bond with Facebook. The company says its iOS 6 software will sport more than 200 new features, though some won't be available on all devices. Rovio’s latest Angry Birds game continues to beat expectations and smash records. The company previously revealed that its Angry Birds Space game had been downloaded more than 50 million times in 35 days, making it the fastest growing mobile game of all time.
